Despite Coventry City being locked in a legal dispute with their Ricoh Arena landlords regarding rental payments, Sky Blues fans came out in force on Saturday for the teams' vital League One away game at MK Dons.

Nearly 5,000 fans made the away trip in what was the biggest away following for any Football League team last weekend. This show of support by the fans has made it clear that Coventry City still do have the fan base to self-support their own ownership of a stadium, leading some quarters to question if the club would even be in League One if it wasn't for the mismanagement by previous owners.

The club's fans left the ground happy too, with Mark Robins' men running out 3-2 victors on the day, with goals from Franck Moussa and Stephen Elliott (2) propelling the Sky Blues into 9th place, just two points shy of the play-offs.

Coventry City have been storming there way up the League One table since Robins took over in September 2012, and many fans are now hopeful of achieving a play-off place, with some believing that City still have a genuine chance of achieving automatic promotion.
