Brazilian midfielder Taison has his sights set on a January transfer to Stamford Bridge after confirming he has held preliminary talks with Chelsea over a proposed move.

Taison has been in impressive form for Metalist Kharkiv this season and now, it would appear, could be rewarded for his exploits with a switch to Chelsea before the transfer deadline.

The 24-year-old claims to have been to London to visit Chelsea, where he spoke to the club's owner Roman Abramovich, and the Daily Mail reports that a move is now on the cards.

"I went to England (some weeks ago) just to take a look. I talked to the president," Tiason told Diario Popular.

Should he join Chelsea, Taison would join an ever growing contingent of Brazilian players at Stamford Bridge, with the likes of Oscar, David Luiz, Ramires and Lucas Piazon already on the club's books.

Taison and Oscar - who joined Chelsea in the summer - are former teammates at Internacional, and the former hopes to be reunited with the Blues star in west London.

He added: "I see Oscar, who I played alongside at Internacional, and I want to play with him again."
