Real Madrid ready to move for €40 million Chelsea and Manchester United target

Real Madrid are ready to enter the race for Malaga starlet Isco in the January transfer window, according to El Mundo Deportivo.

Isco has dazzled for Malaga this term and helped his club into the knockout stages of the Champions League.

A host of Premier League clubs have been linked with a move for the talented youngster in recent weeks, including Manchester United and Chelsea along with Manchester City, who have all scouted the Malaga player.

All three were said to be hopeful of capitalising on Malaga’s financial problems which forced them to sell Santi Cazorla to Arsenal over the summer, while more recently they were reprimanded by UEFA for outstanding transfer payments.

El Mundo Deportivo report that the talented youngster tops Real Madrid’s transfer list and could make the move to the Bernabeu in January.

Sources in Spain put Isco’s value at around €40 million, a figure unlikely to put off either Manchester City or Chelsea.

According to the paper, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is planning on landing Isco and using him as a figurehead for the next generation of Madrid players.

A move for Isco would also give Madrid cover if Xabi Alonso decides to leave the club at the end of the season.

The same paper reports that another Manchester City and Chelsea target, Radamel Falcao, is also on Real Madrid’s radar.
