QPR manager Harry Redknapp has confirmed that he was offered Inter Milan playmaker Wesley Sneijder by an agent.
The Holland captain is reported to have been offered to a series of Barclays Premier League clubs by Inter, who are eager to remove a player paid £200,000 per week from their wage bill.
"I was offered him by an agent but I took it with a pinch of salt. It's not going to happen," Redknapp said. "How are we going to get Wesley Sneijder? What chance have you got? He was up there for world footballer of the year once. He's not going to be coming to QPR is he? I wouldn't see that one coming off, you have to be realistic."
