Rio Ferdinand took on YouTube star KSIOlajidebt in a FIFA ’13 battle for #5 magazine – and lost 3-2 in cruel fashion.
Much like Manchester United do to their opposition, KSI struck late in the big rematch, scoring in the 87th and 90th minute to complete a Samuel Eto’o hat-trick and break Ferdinand's heart with Russian big-spenders Anzhi Makhachkala.
Ferdinand – playing as Paris Saint-Germain – led the match twice through goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic (penalty) and Kevin Gameiro, but would ultimately come up short against the self-styled voice of YouTube.
For those who don’t know, KSI has over one million subscribers on YouTube, and over 300 million views on his regular video uploads.
Often blogging and talking about FIFA, the 19-year-old certainly showed he’s got the skills when it comes to computer games – although Ferdinand put up a decent fight considering he players once every couple of weeks (or so he claimed!!).
Check out the video below, and let us know if you think you'd be able to beat the Manchester United centre back on FIFA...
