Manchester United are being linked with a move for Galatasaray goalkeeper Fernando Muslera.
Reports in Turkey claim the Red Devils have tabled a £14 million bid for the player, but The Daily Mail understands that no official offer has been made for the 41-cap Uruguayan international at this stage.
Muslera isn’t the only stopper to be linked with a move to Old Trafford recently either, with both Asmir Begovic and Pepe Reina reported to be on the radar of manager Sir Alex Ferguson, according to the paper.
David De Gea is currently is possession of the No.1 jersey at Manchester United, but The Daily Mail reports that the Spaniard could be sold to Real Madrid in the summer transfer window, leaving a potential void in the position for the Premier League title chasers next season.
Muslera, who started his career with Montevideo before moving to Lazio and then Galatasaray, could be the answer for Ferguson, with the 26-year-old possessing experience at both European and international level.
