Paris Saint-Germain director Leonardo has denied Chelsea defender Ashley Cole and Manchester United star Patrice Evra are transfer targets for the mega-rich French club.

Cole, who is out of contract at the end of the season, is expected to leave Chelsea in the summer transfer window, while Evra's long-term future at Manchester United has recently been called into question.

With former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti in charge at the Parce des Princes it was inevitable Cole would be linked with a switch to PSG, while the club's official Twitter account 'announced' the signing of the Stamford Bridge star after it was hacked.

Evra, meanwhile, emerged last month as a reported target for PSG and, although the France international welcomed the interest, he said the Ligue 1 club would have to 'kill' Sir Alex Ferguson before prising him from Old Trafford.

Leonardo, though, has dismissed suggestions that PSG will be making an approach to either Chelsea or Manchester United to enquire about the availability of their respective left-backs.

The former AC Milan manager told L'Equipe: "Cole or Evra? No."
