The £7.4million Manchester United paid for Portuguese winger Bebe is generally considered to be one of the biggest wastes of money by a Premier League club.
The 22-year-old was sent out on loan to Portuguese club Rio Ave a week or so ago after his first two years at the club produced some unspectacular results.
It may yet be a bit early to write off the Old Trafford reserve, however, as he has already made his mark for his new side in a Portuguese Cup match.
Bebe helped Rio Ave to progress to semi-finals after a flash of brilliance won the match on his debut.
After picking up ball on the edge of the area, the former Vitoria de Guimaraes man shimmied across his marker and arrowed a powerful shot into the top corner.
Bebe is more commonly known for a making a few hapless appearances for Sir Alex Ferguson’s side – the video below highlights one or two of his shortcomings.
