Radamel Falcao has dropped the clearest hint yet about where he could end up next season - by describing Paris Saint-Germain as a 'very ambitous project' and calling France a 'wonderful' country.

Falcao has established himself as one of the most dangerous strikers in Europe over the past two seasons, and earned himself a place in the FIFA/FIFPro team of 2012 alongside Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo earlier this week.

Both Chelsea and Manchester United have been linked with a move for the Colombian forward along with Real Madrid, although that may have to wait until the summer.

Recent reports suggest that Chelsea could be willing to let Fernando Torres leave Stamford Bridge and return to Atletico Madrid as part of a swap deal for Falcao.

Manchester City remain keen on taking Falcao to the Etihad Stadium, and could be making room for his arrival after reports suggesting the Citizens are ready to let Mario Balotelli leave the club.

However both club's pursuit of one of the most dangerous strikers in the game could be in vain after he spoke of his admiration for another suitor, Paris Saint-Germain.

Speaking to Telefoot, Falcao said: Paris Saint-Germain has a very ambitious project. France is a wonderful country. I went and I loved it."

Whatever his future holds, Falcao is unlikely to be going anywhere this month.

Atletico remain the only club able to challenge Barcelona at the top of La Liga after Real Madrid dropped even more points against Osasuna last night. Falcao has also recently hinted at a summer move to Italy.
