Hernandez humble on trophy hunt

Published 1 Comments

Javier Hernandez is adopting a selfless attitude to Manchester United's trophy quest.

After being surprisingly overlooked for Sunday's Barclays Premier League win over Liverpool, Hernandez is likely to be recalled for Wednesday's FA Cup third-round replay with West Ham at Old Trafford. Being left on the bench did seem a bit harsh on the Mexico forward given his outstanding contribution to United's Christmas campaign.

But it is typical of Hernandez that he shrugs such issues to one side, such is his determination to improve and his burning desire to help United towards more silverware. He told "I'm not saying I'm the perfect player. I am always looking to improve my game, whether that's my play outside the box or also inside it."
