Tottenham Hotspur are once again being linked with a move for South Korean striker Heung-Min Son.

The Daily Express today (Tuesday) claims Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas has set his sights on the 20-year-old as an ‘affordable option’ for the club, with Brazilian international target Leandro Damiao set to stay at Internacional.

Previously linked with both Arsenal and Liverpool, Min Son has been in decent form with Hamburg this season, notching six goals in the Bundesliga.

It’s form that has alerted Tottenham Hotspur, with The Evening Standard reporting on Friday that a fee in the region of £8 million would be needed to lure the player away from Germany.

Villas-Boas is woefully short of options in attack at White Hart Lane, with Jermain Defoe the only senior striker available to the Spurs manager now Emmanuel Adebayor has joined Togo for the African Cup of Nations.

But, if Tottenham Hotspur want the 12-cap international, then today’s report in the Express claims the north London outfit will have to move quickly to secure the player’s signature.
