Arsenal face competition from Everton in the race to sign Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue, according to reports.
Gunners chief Arsene Wenger has also been linked with a move for the player in the January transfer window, with The Daily Star reporting over the weekend that the Frenchman was eyeing a £10million move for the player.
The report claimed Dutch international Urby Emanuelson was another target for Arsenal, as the north London outfit look to strengthen their midfield options at the Emirates Stadium.
Everton, meanwhile, have seen star midfielder Fellaini linked with a move away from Goodison Park, with reports suggesting the player has a £22 million minimum fee release clause in his contract.
And, whilst Moyes played down speculation last week, the link to a four-cap French international in the same mould as the Belgian will do little to stop the paper talk.
The Toffees will face a transfer fight if they do indeed want to add Capoue however, as Arsenal are unlikely to let their Premier League rivals have things all their own way.
