Steaua Bucharest defender and reported Chelsea target, Vlad Chiriches, will be allowed to join Inter Milan this month, according to the Romanian club's owner Gigi Becali.
Sky Sports reports how the 23-year-old's agent has already promised the Serie A giants they will have first-option on the centre-back, and Becali is willing to accept a proposal from Inter, providing they meet his €10million valuation of the player.
"I'm prepared to let him go to Inter because Victor Becali (the player's agent) has promised that they would have first option on him," he told Romanian TV station DigiSport.
"If they give me 10 million euros for the player, I'll let him go right now, seriously."
Chelsea are believed to have expressed an early interest in bringing Chiriches to Stamford Bridge, although they are now way down the pecking order after the Romanian international's representative claimed that the Blues interim manager Rafa Benitez has not submitted an offer for his client.
Now Steaua Bucharest chief, Becali, admits he is ready to let the in-demand defender - who is also a reported target for inner city rivals AC Milan - join the Nerazzurri should they receive a fee in the region of £8.5million in the January transfer window.
