Hill returns to Dale

Published Add your comment

Keith Hill has been reappointed Rochdale manager on a deal until the end of the season.

Hill established himself as the most successful manager in Dale's history before parting ways to take over at npower Championship club Barnsley in the summer of 2011.

Rochdale subsequently appointed Steve Eyre as Hill's direct replacement before then turning to John Coleman 12 months ago. But Coleman was sacked on Monday, along with assistant Jimmy Bell, with Dale 14th in League Two following their relegation from the third tier last season.
