Wayne Rooney has given Manchester United cause for concern after he reportedly limped out of training in Qatar on Wednesday.

The Red Devils are currently in the Middle East for a four day warm-weather training camp ahead of their FA Cup 4th round clash against Fulham this weekend.

Rooney was seen pulling up and clutching his thigh during the session, prompting fears he may miss the game at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The 27-year-old recently spent three weeks on the sidelines with a knee complaint, scoring the only goal in Manchester United’s 3rd round victory over West Ham upon his return to action a week ago.

Manchester United are due to return from their training camp on Thursday, and will be hoping to get back to winning ways following their draw against Tottenham on Sunday.

Sir Alex Ferguson’s side looked to heading for all three points at White Hart Lane thanks to Robin van Persie’s first-half goal, only for Clint Dempsey’s 92nd minute strike to ensure the points were shared.
