Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has revealed the five songs that get him motivated before a big game.

The 34-year-old centre back picked ‘99 problems’ by Jay Z as his first track, revealing the song is up-beat with a good tempo and a bit of aggression to get the players in the mood.

UK grime artist Wiley got in the mix with his song ‘Gangsters’, followed by two of the biggest names in US rap history, with the collaboration ‘Two of Americaz most wanted’ by 2-pac and Snoop Dogg getting the nod.

‘Maybach Music’ by American artist Rick Ross was next on the list, followed by Drake’s song ‘Lord Knows’. The final track, which also features Ross, has a good vibe and Ferdinand is a fan of the lyrics.

Whether Ferdinand’s Manchester United teammates let him have control of the stereo in the dressing room is unclear, but the #5 magazine star certainly likes his tracks rough and ready.
