Wenger not leaving Arsenal for Schalke
Arsenal transfer news: Arsene Wenger rejects Schalke rumours
Arsene Wenger has rejected suggestions that he could leave Arsenal for German side Schalke, and insists he is completely committed to the Emirates Stadium club.
According to Goal.com, Wenger has been linked with a move to Schalke despite Jens Keller just two games into his tenure after replacing Huub Stevens as the club's manager only last month.
But Wenger, who has a contract with Arsenal until 2014, has brushed off the rumours of Schalke's interested, and will honour his deal with the Gunners.
Wenger told his Friday press conference: "I am totally committed to this club [Arsenal]."
Arsenal and Schalke recently met in the group stages of the Champions League, with the Bundesliga side claiming a 2-0 victory at the Emirates Stadium and later drawing 2-2 on Gelsenkirchen.
Both sides qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League with Schalke topping Group B to set up a clash with Galatasaray, and Arsenal earning a tie with Bayern Munich after their second-placed finish.
