Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, celebrates every goal with ultimate passion, but he particularly enjoys team goals - like Santi Cazorla's strike against West Ham United on Wednesday evening.

After a neat little one-two between Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud, Podolski found space and crossed the ball to Cazorla, who then back-heeled the ball into the net to finish a wonderful team goal.

Speaking to Arsenal Player, Wenger said: “I always like the goals where the maximum [number of] players are involved, so I would say the Cazorla goal, because it was a fantastic collective display.

“I admired the goal from Podolski as well. You felt the goalkeeper didn’t even see the ball. He took responsibility at the moment that we were 1-0 down. You know that the 1-1 will be an important goal."

Wenger is pleased with how the club's summer signings have settled in to life at the Emirates, with three of Arsenal's high-profile recruits getting their name on the scoresheet against the Hammers in mid-week.

“It’s positive because we see the players like Giroud and Podolski and Cazorla, who were questioned at some stage, they have come in this season and are getting better."

“That’s very good news. It means we have done well in the transfer market. That is always questioned.”

With six days left in the transfer window, Wenger is said to be looking to strengthen his squad further, but only if players are available for the right price.
