Asmir Begovic is keen on securing a move to Manchester United at the end of the season, report the Daily Mail.
The young Spaniard has impressed with his shot-stopping ability since he arrived at Old Trafford in 2011, but is seen as a liability when it comes to commanding his area.
His most recent indiscretion came as Tottenham secured a late draw against the Red Devils thanks to Clint Dempsey's goal. Afterwards, former Manchester United defender turned TV pundit Gary Neville laid the blame solely at the 22-year-old's door for a weak punch in the build-up to the goal. Ferguson hit back at De Gea's critics afterwards, describing them as 'idiots'.
Manchester City and Liverpool have also been linked with the 25-year-old, but it would appear as though Manchester United are in the driving seat for his signature.
The Mail report that Begovic is interested in heading to Old Trafford in the summer - however he won't come cheaply.
The paper claims Stoke will hold out for £15 million for the Bosnian, who is contracted at the Britannia Stadium until 2016.
