David Beckham training with Arsenal
Arsenal will allow David Beckham to train with them at London Colney
The 37-year-old former England captain will report to the north London club's state-of-the-art training base at London Colney in Hertfordshire this morning, determined to prove he still has what it takes to play in the Premier League at the highest level.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is a great admirer of Beckham's professional attitude, and hopes the midfielder can have the same galvanising influence on his young squad at the Emirates Stadium, as Arsenal legend Thierry Henry during his short-term switch during the MLS close-season last year.
Beckham is back in England after ending his five-year stint in North America with LA Galaxy, and is weighing up his options for the final chapter of his career.
Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain had been linked with a move for the former Manchester United star, while AC Milan - whom Beckham has spent two previous loan spells with - have also been credited with an interest in bringing the global star back to the San Siro.
However, Beckham is believed to be quickly settling back into life in England, after basing his family in the capital, with his three sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz all recently playing in Chelsea's youth system in the past week.
West Ham and QPR have both also shown an interest in signing Beckham, but Arsenal would surely be a more favourable option of all the Premier League clubs, with the opportunity to play once again in the Champions League.
