Arsenal v Liverpool;
Premier League, Emirates Stadium;
Wednesday 30 January 2013; 19:45 KO.
Arsenal are set to welcome back captain Thomas Vermaelen following an ankle injury.
Manager Arsene Wenger is also expected to name Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla, after they were dropped to the bench in the Gunners' 3-2 victory over Brighton in the FA Cup fourth round.
With Jose Reina, Jose Enrique and Glen Johnson all returning from injury, Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is set to field an experienced side, after the club's youngsters fell to defeat against Oldham Athletic at the weekend.
Wenger: Giroud, Cazorla and Podolski have surprised me
Arsene Wenger is delighted with his summer signings quick acclimatisation to the Premier League.
Cazorla, Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski have all shined for the Gunners, scoring 22 goals between them despite only being bought for a combined fee of around £40 million.
Wenger told the club's official website: "It's a big surprise, especially Santi Cazorla.
"He has played more than anybody else since the start of the season and he was the one I absolutely had to rest [against Brighton] because he had played almost all the games."
The Spanish playmaker has featured 31 times for Arsenal this season, scoring an impressive eight goals and claiming six assists.
Wenger added: "I'm happy he got a little breather and I'm certain we'll have to do that again at some time, but overall they are very robust and all three have adapted very well to the Premier League."
Cazorla was the last of the three to arrive at the Emirates Stadium, joining from Qatari-owned Malaga.
Before the World Cup winner joined the Gunners, Arsenal welcomed last season's Ligue 1 top scorer Giroud from Montpellier, whilst German international Podolski moved from relegated Bundesliga side Cologne.
