QPR boss Harry Redknapp is planning a deadline day raid on former club Tottenham and is hoping to land Jermaine Jenas, David Bentley and Andros Townsend before the close of the window.

QPR are currently at the bottom of the Premier League and four points adrift of safety.

The Daily Mail report that Redknapp has his sights set on Jenas, Bentley and Townsed in order to help his side push up the league and avoid relegation, and will land all three before the close of the window.

Jenas and Bentley are both on the periphery of Tottenham's squad, and have spent time away on loan in recent seasons. Both are out of contract at the end of the season.

Townsend has made 10 appearances for Spurs this season but should complete a loan deal to Loftus Road until the end of the season.

QPR are expected to be busy in the transfer market and are on the verge of finalising a deal for former Blackburn defender Christopher Samba.

Tottenham are also expected to be active on the last day of the window, and are said to be chasing a striker, while goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes is expected to join German outfit Hoffenheim.
