Harry Redknapp managed to secure three of his transfer targets for QPR today, but it was the man he did not get who attracted the most attention.
In the wake of Christopher Samba signing for a club record fee believed to be in the region of £10million this morning, Redknapp then snapped up Tottenham duo Jermaine Jenas and Andros Townsend, with the former penning an 18-month deal and the latter joining on loan until the end of the season.
But it was the non-signing of West Brom striker Peter Odemwingie which caused the most fuss, with the Nigeria international arriving at Loftus Road unannounced and, according to QPR, uninvited, trying to make something happen.
