Adriano

Porto 5-0 Gil Vicente FC

Adriano could hardly do anything to prevent Porto from streaking to a convincing win, but the Gil Vicente did emerge with his dignity intact after number of impressive saves.

Porto were in sensational form in front of goal, but Adriano was able to repel a number of shots with some acrobatic saves - as the video above proves.

Federico Agliardi

Bologna 3-3 Roma

Bologna twice took the lead against Roma last weekend, but had to withstand a late barrage after the Italian capital club netted a leveller with 16 minutes remaining.

It took some heroics from Federico Agliardi to ensure the home side kept hold of a point, and ensure they edged further away from the Serie A relegation zone.

Stephane Ruffier

AS Saint-Etienne 3-0 Bastia

Stephane Ruffier used every inch of his hefty frame to keep Saint-Etienne in the game against Bastia; throwing his sizeable right glove at the ball and push it over with is fingertips.

Ruffier's sturdy display was rewarded with a clean sheet in a convincing victory for Saint-Etienne, who climb into the top seven in Ligue 1 to keep their European ambitions alive.

Stefano Sorrentino

Cagliari 1-1 Palermo

It was heartbreak for Palermo in last weekend's Serie A clash with Cagliari, as Thiago Ribeiro snatched an equaliser in the dying seconds to deny the visitors all three points.

Things, however, could have been worse were it not for the rigid writes of Stefano Sorrentino, who was able to keep out the home side's only other shot on target in the encounter.

Remy Vercoutre

Valenciennes 0-2 Lyon

Remy Vercoutre has kept an impressive five clean sheets in his past eight matches for Lyon, and it comes as no great surprise with saves like the one he made against Valenciennes.

The 32-year-old leapt to his left like the proverbial salmon to squeeze the ball round the post when it appeared destined to nestle into the net.
