Manchester United could be back in for Juan Fernando Quintero this summer after his agent claimed the Colombian could leave Italy at the end of the season, reports talkSPORT.

The 20-year-old midfielder has attracted interest from a host of top European clubs, with Inter Milan also believed to be monitoring the South American's situation.

Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson has been linked with a move for Quintero, who is currently on loan at Pescara from Atletico Nacional back in his homeland.

Pescara have a clause that allows them to buy the talented youngster outright at the end of the season, and the Serie A side are expected to do so, with the intention of selling him on at a profit.

Quintero's representative, Riccardo Calleri, confirmed that interest is high in his client's signature, and raised hopes of a possible move to Old Trafford after saying a transfer in the summer remains a viable option.

"He is a player who has many admirers in Italy and the big clubs would like him," Calleri told TMW.

"However, it would be easier to see him move to a European giant seeing as he is being followed heavily by foreign sides."

Manchester United secured the signature of highly-rated forward Wilfried Zaha last month, loaning the Crystal Palace star back to the Championship club for the remainder of the season. He's expected to link up with the Premier League giants in July ahead of the 2013/14 campaign.
