Ronaldinho concedes Joe Hart got the better of him on Wednesday evening, as the Manchester City goalkeeper kept out a penalty from the Brazilian in England's victory against the five-time World Cup winners at Wembley.
The 32-year-old Brazil legend was presented with the opportunity to give his country the lead after Jack Wilshere was adjudged to have handled in the area, but his spot-kick was repelled by Hart.
Ronaldinho then failed with the follow-up from the Manchester City No.1's initial parry, and the former Barcelona and AC Milan playmaker admits Hart's pre-penalty tactics put him off his stride.
"Normally I don't aim for that corner," Ronaldinho said, as reported by Goal.com.
"The goalkeeper deceived me and I ended up missing the penalty."
Wayne Rooney put England ahead from a Theo Walcott rebound shortly after Hart had kept out Ronaldinho, before Fred restored parity after a mistake by Chelsea centre-back Gary Cahill.
But England claimed victory - their first over Brazil in 23 years - thanks to a fine finish from Chelsea veteran Frank Lampard on his 94th appearance for the Three Lions.
