Brazil legend Rivaldo is 40 years old now but is back in his native country and showed he still has what it takes whenit comes to putting the ball in the net.

The former Barcelona superstar joined São Caetano from Angolan club Kabuscorp last month and his first game for his new side saw him score a crucial equaliser just after half-time.

São Caetano drew 2-2 with giants of Brazilian football Corinthians in the Paulista State Championships on Saturday, with Rivaldo levelling at 1-1 with a poacher’s finish.

Caetano are currently a second division side in Brazil’s national league but will be hoping Rivaldo can add some quality to their side as they attempt to get back into the Serie A with the likes of Neymar and Ronaldinho.

Rivaldo was renowned for his spectacular goals at the Camp Nou for Barcelona and became famous as one of the “Three Rs”, with Ronaldo and Ronaldinho, for leading Brazil to World Cup glory in 2002.
