Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is expected to shuffle his pack for the FA Cup clash against Blackburn Rovers at the Emirates Stadium tomorrow (Saturday).

The Gunners face Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday, and will be looking to avoid further injury problems ahead of the German giant’s visit to north London.

That said, Wojciech Szczesny will expect to start in goal, and the Pole will need to be alert to the dangers of Championship hotshot Jordan Rhodes.

In defence, Thomas Vermaelen and Laurent Koscielny are both out through injury, meaning Per Mertesacker and Ignasi Miquel are the likely starters at centre-back. Carl Jenkinson is suspended, so Bacary Sagna will get the nod at right back, with Nacho Monreal on the opposite flank.

Jack Wilshere is struggling with a dead leg and won’t be risked, with Mikel Arteta, Abou Diaby and Aaron Ramsey a possible midfield three for the Gunners.

Gervinho is tipped to make his first start since returning to north London from the African Cup of Nations, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on the opposite flank. Olivier Giroud could get the nod up-front, with Theo Walcott and Lukas Podolski both likely to be rested.

Arsenal predicted line-up v Blackburn Rovers:

Wojciech Szczesny; Bacary Sagna, Per Mertesacker, Ignasi Miquel, Nacho Monreal; Mikel Arteta, Abou Diaby, Aaron Ramsey; Gervinho, Olivier Giroud, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
