Manchester United are the only club to have made contact regarding the transfer of Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski, according to the player's agent.

Lewandowski's representative, Cezary Kucharski, confirmed United's interest in an interview with an Italian football website, while he refused to comment on reports linking the Poland international with Bayern Munich.

The Borussia Dortmund top scorer has also been linked with defending Serie 'A' champions Juventus, but Kucharski gave short shrift to such speculation.

Speaking to TuttoJuve, and quoted on talkSPORT, Lewandowski's agent said: "Many clubs follow the player, but really it is only specifically Manchester United.

"Bayern Munich? I know something, but no further details. In June we'll see, but [a move to] Juventus is just a rumour. Nobody at the Italian club has talked to me."

The Poland striker has hit 51 goals in the past season-and-a-half, and his goalscoring exploits have prompted speculation he could move on at the end of the season.

Borussia Dortmund are defending Bundesliga champions, having successfully retained their 2010-11 title last season, but Jurgen Klopp's side have failed to keep pace with Bayern Munich this term, and the Bavarian giants sit 15 points clear at the top of the table.

Lewandowski remains the club's top scorer with 14 league goals - a total that puts him joint top of the Bundesliga standings with Bayern Munich's Mario Mandzukic and Bayer Leverkusen's Stefan Kiessling.

Manchester United paid £24m to bring Robin Van Persie to Old Trafford last summer, but that hasn't dampened speculation linking the Poland star with a Manchester United switch.
