Andres Iniesta has revealed he would bring Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos to Barcelona were he able to do so, while the Camp Nou star would also like to see reported Manchester United target Isco arrive at the club.

The comments of Iniesta are likely to anger some of Barcelona's more volatile supporters given the deep and bitter past between the clubs, but the former would be willing to risk any ill feeling to sign a player of Ramos' calibre.

Iniesta has seen the impact Ramos can have both as a teammate for Spain and an opponent in El Clasico and believes Barcelona would benefit from the many talents of the Real Madrid star.

The Barcelona playmaker is also a fan of Spanish football's next superstar Isco who, if reports are to believed, could have a future away from Malaga and in the Premier League.

"I’ve always liked Sergio Ramos,” Iniesta told Mundo Deportivo when he would bring to Barcelona if given the choice. “He's very impressive. And I like to look at the upcoming players, such as Isco."

Ramos, meanwhile, was sent off on Sunday evening after receiving the fastest double booking in Real Madrid history, having received his second yellow card just 42 seconds after his first.

The 26-year-old's departure, however, did not affect the outcome of the match with Real Madrid winning 2-0 against Rayo Vallecano to close the gap on Barcelona to 16 points again.
