Napoli striker Edinson Cavani, a reported transfer target for Chelsea and Manchester City, says he will not allow speculation about a move away from Naples to distract him from the job in hand with his current employers.
The 26-year-old has repeatedly been linked with a transfer to either Chelsea or Manchester City as he continues his good form with Napoli, which has brought the Uruguayan 93 goals in 124 appearances for the club.
According to talkSPORT, Chelsea and Manchester City are expected to make respective moves for Cavani during the summer transfer window, although they are likely to have to meet his £60 million release clause if they are to prise him away from the Stadio San Paolo.
Cavani, though, is unfazed by speculation about a potential move to Stamford Bridge or the Etihad Stadium, and will continue to keep his head regardless of interest from Chelsea or Manchester City.
"I'm calmly living through all of this," Cavani said, as reported by talkSPORT. "There is a lot of talk in football and I'm being linked with a lot of teams.
"But I'm only thinking of Napoli, a club who offered me their faith in the summer of 2010 by paying Palermo a lot for me.
"I'm just focused on giving 100 per cent for Napoli - I'm not thinking about the rest."
