He will go down in history as one of the best footballers the world will ever see and Lionel Messi cannot stop finding the net for a rampant Barcelona again this season.

With the debate about the "best in the world" still raging on despite Messi's record breaking year and record 4th successive Ballon d'Or, Messi has gone about his business in the usual fashion. Rather than answer the question and his critics with words, he continues to find pure fluent poetry on the pitch.

The latest of his goals has now seen him surpass the 300 mark for his club, at the age of just 25. His double against Granada means that his incredible record now stands at 301 goals in 365 games for the Catalan giants, and Messi now has 48 to his name in all competitions this season.

With an interesting tie against AC Milan in the Champions League this Wednesday, Bacelona fans will be delighted that he has continued the scoring run he has been on for quite some time.

Next up, Messi will have his eye on Italian giants AC Milan.

The first leg at the San Siro is a mouthwatering clash for football fans across the globe. Much like the Real Madrid vs Manchester United match last week, there will be many eyes on this game as it has plenty of promise.

With Messi on yet another scoring run this season, many will be hoping to see him light up Milan on Wednesday and give Barcelona the advantage before the return leg at the Nou Camp.
