Liverpool shotstopper Pepe Reina has weighed into the debate over Gareth Bale's future - and says the Tottenham star should complete a move to Real Madrid.
Bale has been linked with a move away from Tottenham at the end of the season - even if they manage to secure Champions League football.
Real Madrid, Paris-Saint Germain and Bayern Munich have all been linked with a move for the Welshman, who could cost up to £50 million should he leave Spurs this summer.
Speaking to Spanish radio station Marca, Reina said he would be delighted if Bale moved to Madrid despite his connection with rivals Barcelona - because it would give him an easier ride in the Liverpool goal.
"If Real Madrid sign Bale I'll be delighted," said Reina, who was beaten by a Bale free-kick in Spurs' 2-1 win over Liverpool in November. "He causes me a lot of problems (in goal)."
The Anfield favourite added of Madrid's Champions League showdown against Manchester United: "I want Real to win the Champions League tie against United. It's a Spanish team and I've got lots of friends there."
Bale is currently in a rich vein of form and scored two superb free-kicks against Lyon last week to help Tottenham edge closer to a last-16 place in the Europa League - taking him to seven goals in his last five games.
The 23-year-old's goals - he has 17 already this term - have helped Spurs maintain their charge for Champions League football, and he has scored each and every one of his club's goals in their last four games.
Reina meanwhile, has been linked with a move away from Liverpool, with Barcelona said to be interested in landing the 30-year-old as a replacement for the out-going Victor Valdes.
