The 21-year-old is widely regarded as one of the brightest young prospects in the Eredivisie at the moment, after the talented playmaker turned in a series of scintillating performances for Ronald Koeman's side.
Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas has been credited with an interest in bringing Clasie to White Hart Lane, as he looks to inject more youth into a side that is currently chasing Champions League football this year.
After failing with a bid for the Holland international in the summer, Tottenham are expected to make a renewed offer at the end of the season, but could now face competition for the player's signature, after Wessel Weezemberg confirmed he had spoken with a party in Italy, before adding that no formal bid had been submitted.
"I can confirm, I was in Florence and I watched Fiorentina against Inter," Weezemberg told TMW. "It was a good game, Fiorentina are a great team.
"Did I talk to [Fiorentina technical director] Eduardo Macia about Clasie? I talked with him about many things, including Clasie.
"He follows him from time to time, it's normal for a guy like that to interest many teams, but for the moment there is nothing concrete."
The January signing of Lewis Holtby from Schalke raises questions as to whether Tottenham would still be interested in recruiting Clasie, and a move to Serie 'A' now looks more likely for the Feyenoord star this summer.
