Chelsea target Radamel Falcao has insisted that he is happy to stay at Atletico Madrid, with the Spanish outfit his "best option" at present, despite interest from Europe's biggest clubs.
Since moving to Atletico from Porto back in 2011, Falcao has scored 44 league goals in 55 appearances, form which has made him the most sought after striker in world football.
It is understood that Chelsea and Real Madrid are leading the chance for the player's signature, but Falcao has insisted that he is fully focused on Atletico as they bid to qualify for next season's Champions League via La Liga.
Speaking to El Mundo Deportivo, Falcao said: "I have a contract with Atletico for three more years, therefore that's the best option.
"As a group we have the clear goal of qualifying for the Champions League. If we maintain the same level that we have showed we will achieve our objectives.
"We are not thinking about either (Real) Madrid or Barca, we are focusing on what we can give and on our objectives."
Atletico sit in second place in the league ahead of city rivals Real, although they are 12 points behind runaway leaders Barcelona.
Since moving to Spain, the 27-year-old frontman's stock has continued to rise, and Falcao is delighted with how things have gone since joining Atletico.
"I have come to one of the big clubs in Spain, in a very important league that is more well-known on the world stage than any I was in with my previous clubs," he added.
"It has allowed me to grow as a footballer, to become known in other parts of the world. It has been a very positive step."
