Chelsea appear to have made their second signing of the summer after Chilean prospect Christian Cuevas claimed to have agreed a move to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea announced a deal for Brazilian youngster Wallace in December, and now appear to have snapped up another South American starlet in Ceuvas.

Last month it was reported Chelsea were lining up a move for the 17-year-old winger, who only joined current club Unión Española in December.

who watched him during the 2013 South American Youth ChampionshipsDespite his tender age and his inexperience, Cuevas appears to have done enough to persuade Chelsea scouts to take him to west London in the summer.

The talented youngster is expected to feature for Chile in the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey in July, meaning he could make the move to Stamford Bridge after that.

Cuevas revealed he is already making preparations for his move to Stamford Bridge, and says he is up for the challenge of life at a major European club.

he added"I am already taking English classes so I can integrate quickly. It will be a big change," . "I could account for all the differences there were when I was there. But I am calm and very happy."

Cuevas spent time training with Chelsea in December, describing his trip to London as a 'great opportunity'


Chelsea and Unión Española are yet to confirm the deal.
