Lionel Messi and Neymar would be 'unstoppable' if the young Brazilian secures a transfer from Santos to Barcelona, according to Sevilla striker, and compatriot of the latter, Luis Fabiano.
Neymar has been linked with a move to the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United, but appears most likely to join Barcelona when he eventually leaves Brazil for a high-profile move to Europe.
A transfer to Barcelona would see the 21-year-old, judged by Pele as the best player in the world, join four-time Ballon d'Or winner Messi and the Camp Nou, to form one of the potentially most devastating partnerships ever assembled.
Neymar has scored an impressive 129 times in his professional career so far, while Messi continues to astound with his goalscoring, having found the net on 48 occasions this season alone.
Fabiano expects Neymar to thrive in Spain should he choose to transfer to La Liga rather than the Premier League, and believes he and Messi can create a Barcelona axis nigh on impossible to stop.
"Messi and Neymar together? Phew... Neymar is very good but he needs the experience of playing in Europe," Fabiano told Xarxa Radio.
"It is very competitive there, but the two of them would be almost unstoppable.
"Because of Neymar's playing style, I think the best place for him to go is Spain, and Barca play the best football in Europe."
