Cristiano Ronaldo posted a picture of himself taking over piloting duties in the cockpit of an aeroplane carrying the Real Madrid squad to Saturday's La Liga clash with Deportivo La Coruna.
The Portuguese forward posed in a captain's hat with the caption 'pilot for a few hours' as the Primera Division giants made the short flight to the Riazor, where they played out a 2-1 victory, thanks to an 88th minute winner from Gonzalo Higuain.
Ronaldo was in good spirits ahead of the weekend encounter, and asked if he could have a tour of the plane before it took off from the Spanish capital.
The 28-year-old - left out of Real Madrid's starting XI by Jose Mourinho on the night - made a second-half cameo, and played a key role in the decisive goal after he collected the ball from Kaka, before squaring to Higuain for the simplest of tap-ins.
Real Madrid's night was slightly soured by the harsh sending off of Angel Di Maria, who was shown a second yellow card after failing to retreat the required 10-yards for a Deportivo free-kick.
Attention now turns to Tuesday's El Clasico with Barcelona, in the second leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final at Camp Nou, before another match against the runaway leaders ahead of Real Madrid's crucial Champions League clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford on March 5.
