Bayern Munich star Arjen Robben believes Arsenal will face a battle to keep hold of their most prized asset, Jack Wilshere, in the near future.
Robben witnessed Wilshere's abilities first hand after coming on as a substitute in Bayern's 3-1 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates in the last 16 of the Champions League, and despite defeat in the game Wilshere was many peoples man of the match after an impressive shift against the German giants.
And the Dutch star admitted that if Arsenal continue their barren run of trophies it will be hard to hold on to the England International who has in the past been linked with Barcelona.
Arsenal have not won a trophy since 2005, and they are unlikely to win a trophy this season after their crushing defeat to Bayern.
It would be nothing new for Arsenal to lose a star player, as they have watched many of their stars move on and become successful at their new clubs. The likes of Cesc Fabregas, Samir Nasri and Robin van Persie have all left The Gunners in recent years and Robben believes that Wilshere could be the next to go.
He told the Daily Star: "I don't know if Arsenal can keep him if they are not winning things.
"It's always difficult to judge that about another player.
"But you can see that Wilshere is a very big talent and he is only young still. He's just 21 years old. He will definitely be a big player."
