Eden Hazard has adjusted to life in the Premier League well, since joining Chelsea, he has already hit double figures in both goals and assists in all competitions.
The young winger believes participating in Judo as a youngster has helped him adapt to the Premier League.
Hazard told The Metro: "I’m light on my feet. I did judo as a kid, so I know how to fall."
His first game in the Premier League came against Wigan, and Hazard gained the man of the match, for two assists.
The Belgian international also compared the physicality of Ligue 1 and the Premier League.
"I used to get quite a few physically tough games in France. I haven’t found it too much more demanding. The difference is the intensity. There’s no dead time, no breathing space in the game.
"It’s one hundred per cent all the time. In a French league game, you might pass the ball around for five minutes, let the defence handle things for a few minutes and have a rest up front.”
Hazard, who was Ligue 1 player of the Year last year, helping Lille secure both league and domestic success, has been in terrific form of late, recently scoring a last minute goal to send The Blues through to the last 16 of the Europa League.
On that goal, Hazard told the Daily Mirror: "Yes, it was one of my favourite moments.
"We were a little bit unlucky – we’d had a few chances and not put any away – but I tried something and it came off.
"When we were kids we all dreamed about dribbling round entire sides and then scoring, doing nutmegs all over the field."
At the rate Hazard is working even in a troublesome year for the Blues, the future is looking bright at Stamford Bridge.
