Video: Galatasaray midfielder scores bizarre own goal

Published 6 Comments

Galatasaray pulled victory from the jaws of defeat against Orduspor last night, but it was an incredible own goal from Selcuk Inan which caught our attention at GiveMeFootball towers.

The 28-year-old central midfielder inunvertadly opened the scoring on 15 minutes, when Fernando Muslera's goal-kick cannoned back off the 24-cap Turkish international and flew over his head, landing perfectly in the centre of the goal.

Bogdan Stancu then doubled the advantage on 45 minutes to give the visitors an unlikely chance of victory at the Turk Telekom Arena, but it wasn't to be as Fatih Terim's side turned it around in the second period.

Wesley Sneijder pulled one back for the hosts with a beautiful curling effort from the edge of the box, before a three-minute brace from Burak Yilmaz put Gala in-front for the first time on 70 minutes.

Then, to complete his own personal redemption, Inan got on the scoresheet at the right end, securing a 4-2 victory with his 78th minute strike.

Watch the video of the own goal at the top of this story, and let us know if it's the 'best' OG you've ever seen….
