Feyenoord defender Daryl Janmaat is not allowing himself to become distracted by speculation about a summer transfer window move to Arsenal, and is instead focused on helping his current employers land the Eredivisie title.
The Dutch full-back is reported to have been identified as a potential replacement for Gunners defender Bacary Sagna, who could become the latest high-profile name to leave the club at the end of the season.
Sagna is out of contract next year and, like Robin van Persie and Samir Nasri before him, may leave Arsenal before the expiration of his deal, with the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan reported to be interested in the Arsenal defender.
Janmaat has emerged as a contender to succeed Sagna at Arsenal in the next transfer window, with the Frenchman's understudy Carl Jenkinson in need of some competition should his mentor leave the Emirates Stadium.
Netherlands international Janmaat, however, insists he will not allow his mind to wander towards thoughts about a possible Arsenal transfer, and he is committed to the Feyenoord cause for the remainder of the season at least.
"Arsenal's interest in me? I'm only thinking about Feyenoord now," the 23-year-old told Voetbal International. "Much remains to be played this season before thinking about the transfer market."
