Wellington Nem displayed commendable powers of recovery on Wednesday night as he managed to forget an awful miss in the first-half against Huachipato and inspire Fluminense to a 2-1 victory.
The 21-year-old Brazil international scored one and provided the other in the Rio de Janeiro club's Copa Libertadores triumph against their Chilean opponents, but it was an evening of mixed fortunes for Wellington.
He could have provided his side with a first-half lead were it not for a miss of the season contender, as the young midfielder failed to convert with the goal at his mercy.
