Chelsea have been given the first option to sign Malaga ace, Francisco Roman Alarcon Suarez, more familiarly known as Isco, according to reports.
The Uefa Champions League holders already have an abundance of young, talented, exciting, attacking midfielders at Stamford Bridge.
However, Roman Abramovich seems to want to add the Spanish international to his current crop of stars.
At just 20-years-old, Isco has already proved he can mix it with the best, as he has had a series of magnificent performances in the Champions League, netting twice in the group stages and helping the La Liga outfit reach the last 16 of the competition in their debut season.
Cited as a replacement for Frank Lampard, and with his current club Malaga set to miss out on European football next season, due to failure to meet financial obligations, a move to the west London club would appear to be extremely desirable for the Spanish hit man.
The January loan deal of Lucas Piazon to Malaga looks to have secured Chelsea first option to buy the midfielder in the summer, with a cash plus Piazon deal looking to be their preferred option.
Piazon, who signed for Chelsea in 2011 from Sao Paolo for a reported £8 million made his full debut for The Blues this season coming on as a sub in the 8-0 win over Aston Villa.
Abramovich has put a clear emphasis towards the future in recent years as Chelsea look to build a squad capable of winning the Premier League again.
