Chelsea fans have said Rafael Benitez can expect an extremely negative welcome at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, when the Blues face West Bromwich Albion.

In a press conference after Chelsea's FA Cup victory over Middlesbrough on Wednesday, Benitez said the fans constant hostility towards him was having a negative affect on the team's performances. Now, a Chelsea supporters' website has informed Benitez his reception will become even worse as a response.

Rob Townby, a spokesman for, told the London Evening Standard that they want Benitez out of the Stamford Bridge hotseat as soon as possible.

He said: "If he thought he was getting a bad reaction before, it will be multiplied by many times now.

"We want him out as soon as possible. We are in decline and we want to arrest that decline as soon as possible. He should go now, especially after his rant. his position is untenable.

"It will accentuate among Chelsea supporters and actually broaden it. It won't be just the die-hard section booing him now, more supporters will be against him for his rant against the fans and the club."

If the Blues lose to West Brom, managed by former Chelsea coach Steve Clarke, and Arsenal beat Tottenham in the north London derby, Chelsea will slip out of the Champions League qualification places for the first time this season.

Since taking over from the sacked Roberto Di Matteo, Benitez has just a 52 percent victory rate, winning 14 of his 27 games in charge, drawing seven and losing six.
