Video: England under-19 star scores stunning solo goal for Reading

Published 2 Comments

England under-19 striker Dominic Samuel has dramatically enhanced his star after scoring a stunning solo goal for Reading under-21s against their Manchester City counterparts.

The 18-year-old, who recently spent a month on loan with League One side Colchester United, is a goalscorer of some repute having found the net 13 times in 14 games for Reading's under-18s last season, and Samuel is now doing the business for the club's top age group side.

Reading were on impressive form against Manchester City on Sunday, as they cruised to a 3-0 victory at the Madejski Stadium, and the third goal from Samuels was a quite brilliant effort.

Picking the ball up inside his own half, the teenager charges into Manchester City territory, before slamming past four opposition players and sliding the ball past the advancing goalkeeper.

You can watch the goal in the video above, and well done to 101greatgoals for initially highlighting this beauty.
