Chelsea have not been playing well of late and results have been poor. Chelsea fans have never taken to the Spanish manager and the performances are not helping him win them over.

In the most recent win against West Brom, Chelsea fans expressed their dislike of the management when they held up numerous signs calling the Benitez's head. Banners such as 'Divided We Fall #RafaOut' and 'We're Just Not That In-Ter-Im' plus many more were a statement by the fans after another attack on them by Rafa Benitez.

Chelsea and Benitez have said that they are not going to renew the contract of the Spaniard at the end of the season but with their top four place looking in danger of being taken by Arsenal or Tottenham, a change in management looks possible.

Reports have suggested that Roman Abramovich has got plenty of candidates to be the next Chelsea manager. One of them being the much loved Jose Mourinho who is leaving Real Madrid. A chorus of 'Jose Mourinho' was sung by the Chelsea fans against West Brom and that shows the manager preference for the fans.

It is the atmosphere of the ground that is most worrying for the Chelsea board. The constant booing and tension at Stamford Bridge is surely playing a part in the edgy performances of the players and this would be a major factor in the potential sacking of Rafa Benitez.

The results of late have been so poor that Abramovich might be tempted to kick Rafa Benitez out to ensure a top four spot. However, I believe that Abramovich has someone lined up at the end of the season to replace Benitez and therefore, as much as Chelsea fans will dislike it, I can see the Spaniard seeing out the season.
