Once Caldes and Deportivo Pereira played out a memorable 4-4 draw in the Colombian Cup on Wednesday night, with two injury-time goals ensuring a share of the spoils for the South American sides.

Cesar Arias thought he had secured victory for the hosts when he put the Primera A outfit 4-3 up in the first minute of second-half stoppage time, only to see the Second Division visitors equalise in emphatic fashion, moments before the final whistle.

Pereira defender Francisco Cordoba blasted an unstoppable free-kick from 35 yards, past the helpless Once Caldes goalkeeper, with 94 minutes on the clock, to send his team-mates and small group of away supporters into raptures.

The 24-year-old's decision to opt for sheer power, when he fired towards goal from the most ambitious of angles, paid off in scintillating fashion as the ball nestled perfectly in the top corner of the opposition goal.
