The dramatic exit for Manchester United in the UEFA league may not be the last heartache the united fans to endure this year.

The premier League is thought to have been wrapped up by the Manchester club but stranger things have happened in football. We look at some of the games that will be critical for united to overcome and make the 2012-13 season a success.

Chelsea (H) FA Cup

United take on the current FA cup holders at Old Trafford, just a few days after Real Madrid won there in controversial circumstances. The Red devils would want to bounce back after the loss but Chelsea might prove to be too difficult to dismantle as the FA cup seems the most likely trophy the Stamford bridge outfit might win this year, add the fact that they have an outstanding record in the competition having won four out of the last six FA Cups. Both teams would be playing to win and if united crash out of two tournaments in a week it could have a devastating effect on their league form.

Stoke city (A) PL

Stoke away has been one of the most difficult fixtures for teams in the Premier league. Many top four teams have found it difficult to conquer the Britannia stadium and if united win there the league might be done and dusted but if the results of recent years are to go by it wont be easy.

Chelsea (H) PL

The two teams also meet at Old Trafford in the league and Chelsea are one of the few teams that have a good record at Old Trafford. They are also fighting for the champions league places with Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal and would come to united looking for a positive result.

Manchester City (H) PL

The Manchester Derby will be a deciding factor in the tittle race once again. City will have to come to Old Trafford and win, however they willbe confident of doing just that after their emphatic win at the Theatre Of Dreams last season.

Arsenal (A) PL

Arsenal season looks to have come to a premature end at the moment and something dramatic needs to happen if they are to get back in the champions league places. With united coming home Arsene Wenger will want a positive result to salvage something out of the floundering season for his club.

West ham (A) PL

The Last game of the season and United may have wrapped up the tittle by then, but if they come to Upton Park needing a result then this will be another tricky test for United. The London based club has adjusted itself well in the Premier League and have a good home record this season.

Manchester United have a strong enough squad to do the double this season, but their experience heads will have to come together and take them to the finish line, because the road ahead is not that smooth as it seemed to be a week ago. And finally, Manchester City are still going strong in the FA Cup. Perhaps an all Manchester affair is on the cards for the final at Wembley this season.
