With only nine match days in the Premier League season remaining and only 10 points separating 10th place from 20th, the battle to stay in England's top flight is on.

With more tough games coming up for Southampton, it could be difficult for them to keep out of the drop zone. However, they have a four point gap over their relegation rivals and with the odd winnable game around them, I can see them surviving. Predicted Finish: 16th

Wigan Athletic are the kings of surviving certain relegation. Having finished in the bottom half of the table in their last 6 campaigns, 5 of them being 15th to 17th, they have ridden their luck. However, with tough games until the end of the season, is it too much to ask them to do it again? Predicted Finish: 19th

Aston Villa are arguably on the worst run of form in the Premier League. Their results must change quickly if they are to survive. However with games coming up against fellow strugglers surrounding them, an early win in those games could see them get out of the danger zone with the quality of players they have. Predicted Finish: 17th

Reading have had a really tough run recently, with only one win in their last five games, it seems like it will be a tough time for them to escape the bottom three. With one of the hardest run ins for the bottom sides, it doesn't seem likely that they can survive. Predicted Finish: 20th

With QPR becoming harder to beat, their recent run of form has caused some concern from the teams surrounding them. With only 2 losses in their last 8, they have closed the gap on 17th placed Wigan. There is enough time for them to get out of their predicament and with some extremely important games coming up against the teams around them, they must keep their run of form going. However, I believe it will be too little, too late for Harry Redknapp and Co. Predicted Finish: 18th
